HOW WE STARTED

It began with three moms, a picnic table, and a God-sized dream...

We had all been homeschooling for a bit and kept making the drive to Evansville [and beyond] for community and enrichment—until one day, we felt God whisper: Why not here? So, we met over several months, recruited some of our friends and connections, and spoke with countless families. We read books and researched online; we pulled from our personal experiences at various co-ops and homeschool activities; and we prayed and prayed and prayed. 

We knew we wanted a co-op filled with enriching courses and Christ-centered community, but the rest was a jumble of ideas and hopes. Ashley had the determination and Erica had the know-how - Shelby rounded our group to make us whole and keep us fresh. 

Once we started paperwork, everything fell into place - God orchestrated every step! Families showed great interest. Instructors had amazing ideas for courses. Other organizations supported and encouraged us. It felt like God was pushing us in all directions, so we didn't push back.

Our first venue unfortunately suffered a complete loss in an unexpected fire in the Spring of 2025. We questioned and prayed about whether it was a sign we should wait or a sign we should push through. Ashley reached out to countless churches and venues in Gibson Co. but we weren't met with the same enthusiasm. Ultimately, the same church that suffered that immeasurable loss offered us their Parsonage house. We toured it and said, "God, if this is the space You want us to steward then our answer is 'Here are we. Send us!' (paraphrased Isaiah 6:8)" and that's what we did. We found a way to make it work for that first session - and it was a VERY tight fit for the amazing families God brought to our co-op.

We continued praying that God would lead us to the perfect space. Ashley continued reaching out to local organizations knowing we would not fit in that space much longer and God answered with the most abundantly clear path. First General Baptist Church in Princeton, Indiana had in their hearts to open their space to a homeschool group (or start one themselves). God brought us together in His perfect timing. 

We quickly met with their leaders and knew it was our new home. At the start of 2026, we found ourselves in a space that was welcoming, warm, and suited for the growth we pray God brings to our organization. We were able to utilize a sanctuary with a stage, fill a fully functional and spacious kitchen with young chefs, make preschool aged messes in a space fit for them, and SO much more in just our first session there. 

STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Word of God: The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21)

The Trinity: We believe there is one God who exists eternally as three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1-2, 14)

Salvation: All men are in violation of God’s righteous requirements and His holy character both by nature and act. (Romans 3:23 and 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-2) Salvation is offered as a gift, free to the sinner. This gift must be responded to by faith, not by any personal works, but in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone. (Acts 13:38-39; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

Sanctity of Life: We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; and that we must have concern for the physical and spiritual needs of our fellowmen. (Psalm 139:13; Galatians 6:10; Isaiah 49:1)

Family: We believe God’s original plan for human sexuality is to be expressed within the context of marriage. We believe God created man and woman as equal but separate in roles with the man leading the family and the woman as his earthly source of support - the foundation of the family striving jointly for a God-centered life. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:69; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9).
